spring family camp out

Join us for our Pack 89 Spring Family Camp Out!  We'll be sure to have plenty of fun activities planned for the scouts.  All family members are encouraged to attend.

Cub Scout Fishing 🎣

McGimsey Scout Park, 9:30 AM–12:30 PM. Rods, reels, and a morning of fun on the water!

MAY 2-3, 2026

The Great Texas Air Show ✈️

Randolph Air Force Base, 9:00 AM. The Alamo Area Council will be there — scouts are encouraged to attend in uniform and enjoy the show!

Join us at Timberwood Park Elementary School in the Cafeteria at 6:30pm as we celebrate all of the achievements of our scouts this past school year. Be sure to bring your friends and family and a camera to capture this event in time!  Congrats to all of our scouts as they move on to the next rank in their scouting adventure!

Memorial Day Flag Placement 🇺🇸

Pack 89 will place flags at gravestones at Fort Sam Houston — a meaningful way for scouts to learn about service and honor our nation's heroes.

Pack 89 Campout at NASA in Houston!

 This one is special — and slots are filling up fast! An overnight adventure at Space Center Houston that your scouts will never forget. Register as soon as possible
