Event Details:
This is a wonderful chance for our Scouts to demonstrate the values of being helpful, courteous, and reverent as we pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

​Scouts and their families will place American flags on the burial sites of veterans at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery for Memorial Day.  Flags for Fallen Vets will organize and manage the event.  This event will happen the Sunday before Memorial Day, rain or shine.

Please bring a camelback or refillable water bottle as it will likely be hot. Sunscreen and a respectful attitude are also recommended.

Who can attend?
Cub Scouts and their family are invited to attend.

Uniform / Attire:
Scouts should wear their Class A uniform.  Neckerchiefs should not be worn given the scouts will be working and may get warm.   
Parents and other volunteers should try to wear navy blue shirts or similar if possible.
